The newly designed powerhouse caliber from Ruger and Hornady, has a cartridge case that is slightly larger in diameter than a .30-06, but shares the same overall case length. This means the new rifle caliber/rifle provides shooters with a standard length action, shorter bolt stroke and an easier feed, while producing better ballistics than the .375 H&H magnum.

Using the long-recognized Howa barreled action known for its strength, precision craftsmanship and accuracy, in combination with the Hogue Overmolded™ stock, a proven winner in non-slip gripping ability and shooting comfort, this new Howa/Hogue is being marketed under the Howa/Hogue model lineup that was originally introduced in 2006. Built with a 20”, #2 contour barrel, the Howa/Hogue .375 Ruger will be available in either blued or stainless barreled actions, and with either a black or OD green Hogue stock and comes with Hi-Vis #3 front and rear sights.
