Slug Shotguns

Escort offers several options in shotguns, for game-specific hunting applications and self defense. New for 2009 is the Escort Slug series. Built on the tough and reliable Escort action, this model features a slug barrel made by Badger Barrels, Inc. These barrels feature cut rifling with a fast, 1 in 26 twist. The Escort Slug models are designed for sabot slugs only – not lead slugs. If a full slug barrel is not your way to go, we are also offering rifled choke tubes by Pattern Master.

• 1-26 “Fast Twist” Cut Rifling.
 The fastest 12-gauge rifling in the industry. We work with the major Ammunition companies to make our barrels perform flawlessly with the new high speed Sabot slugs.
• Machined Cantilevers.
 No Castings here. Every one of our cantilevers is machined to exact specification out of Match Grade Steel. Every scope locks in for a perfect fit.
• Fit and Function.
 Every one of our barrels goes through a rigorous inspection at every step of manufacturing to ensure smooth fit and function with unbelievable accuracy for the customer.
